Tha Twitchaz are an up-and-coming Dubstep duo haling from Eugene, OR. Having accumulated a hefty catalog of filthy original tracks, but left un-signed, Floridian imprint Low Pass Records found them and signed their work immediately.
Tha Twitchaz had a single track ‘Leap Of Faith’ released on the LPR001 Compilation LP (Which held its place in the Beatport Top100 Albums for over a month) which garnered much due attention; and now will be seeing their very own EP exclusively on Beatport March 1st, and all other retailers on March 15th.
The ‘CuttaFace EP’ …

Kill The Noise and Datsik have put their collaborative minds together to create this dirty electro house track that definitely has a lot of influences from Datsik himself. Kill The Noise aren’t new to electro house by any means but this is a new venture for Troy. I’d love to see where this is going in the future!
Bonus! Check out My World from Kill The Noise, released about a year ago.

Borgore, aka “the man who ruined dubstep” – just dropped his new four track EP earlier today as a free download. His newest EP wasn’t awful but it didn’t really hook me in too much either. The album consists of the song ‘Kiss my Lips’, as well as the song ‘Flex’ with two additional remixes of it. I wasn’t too impressed by the original mix of ‘Flex’. I honestly felt like the lyrics and the song itself were just flat out unbearable. I know some of his songs tend to …

The thing I’ve always loved about Marco V is his knack for tremendously uplifting build ups (think “Reaver”. The thing I’ve always disliked about Marco V is his often underwhelming knack for drops (again, think “Reaver”. When Analogital came out, it had a beautifully orchestrated build up, and a decent acid, electro drop. It’s safe to say that the track was begging for a remix. Thankfully, Hard Rock Sofa and Bassjackers have each given the song its proper treatment, and frankly, I can’t decide which remix I like better. Both tracks feature massive, …

It’s ok, really – I know that LMFAO is your guilty pleasure, but this is a music blog and I’m not here to judge you. It’s my sole responsibility to provide you with kickass remixes that you’ll feel no shame jammin’ to in front of your friends. Hell, dropping this Wolfgang Gartner remix of Sorry For Party Rocking at the next party will probably make you the coolest guy around.

Following up on his incredible Dubstep dance floor anthem ‘Falling Down’ ft. Kenzie May, Sub Focus returns to his Drum & Bass roots to craft another massive track that’s set to melt dance floors everywhere.
‘Out The Blue’ pairs Sub Focus’ trademark polished production with intense and soulful vocals which combine to create an infectious and irresistible slice of emotional Liquid D&B. This single has that undeniable sound that you just can’t escape. Every time I listen to it I end up bouncing around the room. Delicious, but you …

This video is the result of violinist Lindsey Stirling experimenting with the wacky world of EDM. It’s crazy how she manages to create such an eargasmic song by combining elements of classical music with the eccentric style of dubstep. Lindsey pulls this off perfectly by combining her amazing violin skills with a softer symphony of wobbles – and setting it to an equally chilled out video (filmed in Silverthorne, CO for anyone interested). This isn’t your typical EDM music video (if there is such a thing), but I really enjoyed …

Three time Grammy winner Skrillex has leaked another track. After the laptop saga, one would think that Sonny would do better to keep a better leash on his material right? Well I guess not. Possibly from his upcoming Voltage EP, this track has a more chill vibe to it, and has an almost moombahton feel to it. This release is in 320kbps, and after past leaks this is pretty special that it is in such a high bitrate. The track is not nearly as heavy as his past material, and …

The DJ Re:Generation music project which included five DJ/producers teaming up with classics from other genres to make beautiful fusion babies. One particular pairing included Derek Vincent Smith, a.k.a. Pretty Lights working with country singers Dr. Ralph Stanley and LeAnn Rimes. The baby of the combination is Pretty Lights’ glitch-hop, electronic take on the timeless American classic, “Wayfaring Stranger” The remix uses prominent bluegrass-style guitar strumming, LeAnn Rimes’ chilling vocals, a hip-hop vibe and head-bobbing beat. Pretty Lights has dabbled in country remixes before, making a hugely successful dubstep remix …

So I’m going to go ahead and say it: Porter Robinson is the best live performer I have ever seen. Feel free to disagree with me, you’re entitled to your own opinion, but hear me out. Sure, he does not boast an incredible stage setup, à la mau5 or Chemical Brothers. Nor does he play those giant, stadium-sized big room house tracks, à la Swedish House Mafia or Tiësto. But I’ll tell you what he does do… he plays three times as many tracks as any other DJ out there, …
