Introducing: TYR

Alright peeps… I’m currently listening to some music from a producer who could honestly be the next big thing! Those are some pretty big words but honestly, give this kid a listen and I think you’ll agree! I guess these remixes technically qualify as dubstep or drumstep but honestly they are so chopped and screwed that they could pass for glitch hop. That’s just semantics at the end of the day… What’s most important is that these tracks make me wanna jump around!
I think these tracks I’m posting are a …

Introducing: Jonathan Gering

These are the kinds of posts that fuel my energy, passion, and zest for this blog. Every once in a while you take a chance, turn over a rock, and find pure gold. That happened this morning when I was searching YouTube for remixes of Adele’s Someone Like You.
Jonathan Gering is a 20 year old DJ and electronic music producer hailing from St. Paul, Minnesota. With these tracks under his belt he already has quite the fiery arsenal and I can’t wait to see what he does next. Be sure …

Who is 23?

Unsigned dubstep artist “23″ certainly stirred up the dubstep community of Reddit when he posted his EP preview (located below). The perfect mix between groovy trance and some heavy-as-uranium dubstep. This guy’s certainly got some talent, so I decided to catch up with him and find out a little about him.

“23″ likes to remain anonymous, so he couldn’t share his name – but I did find out about that he currently lives in Baltimore, MD. He’s also a software developer for an artificial intelligence company (yes, that is as cool …

ThreeSixty

When I was asked to do a small write up on Manchester based ThreeSixty, I was thrilled. To be honest, who wouldn’t be thrilled after listening to the ThreeSixty remix of Funkagenda’s ‘Astana’?
Even though Kirk Shields and Dave Muirhead met over 10 years ago, they started producing as a duo in 2008. One of their big claims to fame include a remix of the No.1 Beatport smash ‘You Might Hear Nothing’ by Slovenian Techno legend, Umek and the earlier mentioned remix of ‘Astana’ by Funkagenda.
Their remix and collaboration resumee is …

Jasio

Jasio is a up and coming producer from New York City who is in the process of releasing an EP on Circle Squared Records. His sound is a fusion of minimal and tech house with hints of deep house. I’ve picked a few songs from the upcoming EP to share with the readers of ElectroJams.
For anyone who has been to the Big Apple in summer, they know that Summer in New York accurately depicts the hustle and bustle of the city. The strong beat commands your attention while a soft …

Dayton – Cadaque (Original Mix)

I’ve touched on this topic lightly in the past, but I’d like to elaborate on my original thoughts. There comes a time when you run a site such as ElectroJams that you come across artists and their creations that you simply fall in love with. These are the artists that you never would have heard or discovered, but through your dedication to the ‘little guys’ and the ensuing connections, you are blessed with the experience.
Blogging about all the HUGE names like deadmau5 and Bassnectar drives in the hits, sure, but …

Cottonmouth

Cottonmouth is a dubstep producer hailing from London, Britain. His tunes are currently blowing up all over the UK but don’t think that’s where his fame ends. His beats are banging so hard that the waves are now hitting shores all over the world and is also getting him some attention from a few record labels.
He started producing DnB beats at the age of 14 and clearly since then he has come a long way. He features a unique and chillin downtempo feel without overdoing the whole robot / grime / filth …

Per QX

Big Love Digital continues it’s New Blood EP series to push more fresh DJ/Producer talent. Per QX kicks things off with the rocking “Blow My Trumpet” with fat beats and a sax riff that you’ll instantly recognize (remember “Hear The Drummer Get Wicked”?) this is one that’ll work any dancefloor!
