There’s an interesting debate going on right now over at /r/electronicmusic, about the live setups of Daft Punk, deadmau5, and Skrillex. The image (shown below) compares the live setups of each artists and is intended to point out that Daft Punk’s looks like the cockpit of the space shuttle and Skrillex’… Well… Is equivalent of an iPod on shuffle.
It’s pretty amusing, and brings up a good point – where do you stand on this?

Michael Sifeldeen apparantly has some tricks up his sleeve and this video demonstrates just few of themt. He states on his Vimeo page that he has a surprise coming for us, but makes no mention as to what it may be.

San Francisco entertainment blog SF Weekly has published an article with their votes as to who the best dubstep DJs are. Their nominees are DJG, Babylon System, Spit Brothers, and Kozee.
I’m not sure if this makes me a dubstep noob or not, but honestly I’ve never heard of any of these artists. Seriously though, these are the best dubstep artists? What about Benga, Skream, Caspa, Excision, Datsik? Maybe there is something I don’t understand…

When the iPad was released, my initial thoughts were: “So what, it’s a huge iPod, right?”. Well now that developers have had some time with it, I have been really impressed with what I have seen lately.
