Can you hear the resounding OMFG traveling through the Interwebs right now? Many a fan are shitting bricks right now, as this disco-infused track Animal Rights is making its way around. This collab really is the best of both worlds – Wolfgang Gartner is toned down a little and little more housey, and hey, Deadmau5 is actually interesting to listen to!
Hopefully we will hear more collaborations between these two artists in the future…
“Animal Rights” will be available on Beatport Monday 6th September.

What a great way to start off this otherwise dull Thursday morning. As a matter of fact, I wish I could start off every day this way. This hot new track from iONik is simply beyond words. It’s a glitch / electronica / dubstep / hip hop track that is a musical masterpiece. It sounds like it came off the recent release Drink The Sea by The Glitch Mob.
This track just hits me in all the right ways!

MTV has announced today that electro house artist Deadmau5 will be performing and “DJing” for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
Sure the exposure is GREAT for his sales but in my honest opinion I don’t think it will do anything for his production. Many fans already feel that his production quality is going down hill, and I don’t think 100,000 new MTV-crazed fans will add anything to his name.
I’m glad for Deadmau5′s success but I don’t think electro / house music has any place on MTV Networks. With Deadmau5 DJing …

iONiK is a break-beat glitch-hop dubstep artist from Atlanta, GA. A friend of his recommended his music to the /r/dubstep subreddit and I came across the article.
His SoundCloud only offers two tracks, but they are very impressive. Both tracks are bass-heavy breaks style music that will leave you feeling very satisfied. Much like the artists biography says, whether you are listening with headphones or with 100,000 watt speakers, his music will make your shoes groove and your brain sizzle.
According to some sources, he is currently working on an EP with …
