LDD

Diplo’s Express Yourself has become a polarizing track as it doesn’t usually fit in with the regular EDM fan’s tastes. That said, the “bounce” track has made it’s mark as one of the more creative efforts of 2012. ElectroJams’ favorite Luke Da Duke has taken the track and used his moombah flavor on this remix.
The next installment in his Moombah Monday series, LDD really hits the mark with this one.  This is his best track of the MM series, with some series latin flavor to this.  Check this one out, …

When I first discovered 20 year old producer Comic Strips, I was blown away by his monstrous remix of First Of The Year (Equinox) by Skrillex. I‘m sure my readers were equally caught off guard as well. Admittedly I’ve fallen out of contact with Tom as I’ve been busy with other projects, but a quick scan of his Soundcloud shows that he has been VERY busy.
Up on his Soundcloud is a teaser for his upcoming Thrill Ride EP which he is giving away as a free gift to his fans …

Circus Records cover boy Flux Pavilion has ripped up dancefloors for the better part of three years by now and there is no sign of him slowing down.  The Towcester native teamed up with another Englishman in Example to offer the vocals on his new smashed, Daydreamer.  This new one has a noticeably lighter tone than his other releases, but is still sure to send crowds into frenzies just like his past tracks.  It has the classic Flux sound with those 8-bit, crunchy, and bit-crushing synths with lush production to …

There haven’t been been too many moombahton tracks for me that I instantly jammed out to.  Jay Fay, the young producer from St. Louis, has gotten me to just that with his banging remix of XXXChange’s Bounce.  This remix is a straight banger.  The remix has a certain grinding feel to it and just stomps a beat out that has an easy dance feel to it.  This remix is the first I’ve heard of Jay Fay and it hopefully won’t be the last time either.

While I didn’t particularly enjoy the original, this Poisound remix is FIRE. Bringing his 110BPM moombahton flavor, this track just kills. It keeps the feel of the original but gives the track a harder edge and I honestly believe this is better.  I can easily imagine Skrillex or moombahton’s biggest names throwing this track down and getting the crowd wild.  Add this to your mix and go!

In the last 4 months especially, ElectroJams.com has seen some magnificent growth. Last friday, we officially passed 3,000 fans on our Facebook page. Thank you to all of our readers and we hope to continue posting the hottest electrojams out there to bring to you!
As a way to thank our fans, we’ve commissioned a brand new and EXCLUSIVE mix from 2012 Ultra Performer LessThan3′s Luke Da Duke to bring his pimped out duck flavor for you. LDD was kind enough to bring out some of his UNRELEASED material, like his …

Alvin Risk EP

Released today on Dim Mak Records is the hotly anticipated first EP from the young, rising producer Alvin Risk. Dawning plaid shirts and oversized spectacles, I can’t decide what is more enigmatic, his attire or the genre of music he creates. The Skrillex prodigy has been making a name for himself through his giant remixes of “Diminishing Returns”, “Eyes”, “Kill the Noise”, and “Earthquakey People”. While critics, including myself, were quick to associate his sound exclusively with an abundance of sporadic laser-sounding synths, Risk has shown his style to be anything but …

I don’t think there is one major track in the last 20 years that was just begging for a moombahton remix as much as Enur’s famous Calabria.  LessThan3 artist, Luke Da Duke, has taken the classic track and slowed it down and given it a new groove.  With the signature saxophone melody still in place, the feel of this track is nearly the same of the classic, except it has a dare I say, more danceable feel.  The remix is definitely not the most adventurous, but it seems that Luke likes …
