Delta Heavy MAIN PRESS SHOT

Currently one of the most talked about acts in the bass music scene, Delta Heavy have proven to be a staple in the movement. Since their breakthrough release on Ram Records last October, ‘Hold Me’ (accompanied by an official video that has over 2.5 million views), they have been racking up an astonishing amount of accomplishments. While receiving support from nearly every major name in the bass music community, DH has been touring internationally and leading an aggressive assault on all bass music ranging between 110 and 175 BPM. Leaving …

James Egbert is one of the hottest upcoming producers in EDM these days.  After moving to Boulder, CO to work on music full time, James began producing for other groups/acts until it was time to start his own solo projects. Motivated by multiple productions making the top 50 on the iTunes Electronic and Dance charts, Egbert’s success at this point is not a surprise.  The surprise is how the hype surrounding him has exponentially grown and we wonder where he will be next.

At the bottom you can stream the title …

Hospital Records is seriously on fire this year and as you may already know, the Logistics album, ‘Fear Not’, was the newest fuel added to their flame. ‘Fear Not’ is nothing short of a masterpiece. With soothing sounds spanning across nearly all BPMs of broken beats, this album gives a little experimental taste of Logistics’ attitude toward a multitude of genres. For example ‘We Are One’ has the feel of an oldschool uplifting Florida Break, while ‘Early Again’ delves into the traditional Dub feel of the old Hyperdub …

I am very excited today to bring you an exclusive interview we did with Alexander Bjorklund and Sebastian Furrer, the collaboration behind Swedish house phenomenon Cazzette. The duo have seemingly come out of no where the past year, captivating the world with their sexy dub house renditions of big room tracks such as “Believe It”, “Sweet Dreams”, “Save the World”, “Sending My Love”, “Titanium”, and “Amnesia”. Their style is undeniably unique, and with the guidance of Ash from At Night Management, it is sure to only further develop, as they continue to blur the …

We Bang is one of our favorite artists here at EJ.  He’s been a relatively underground producer who has really started to make some fame in the past little bit.  He’s had a #1 hit on the beatport charts with Smash The Floor and he recently came out with his studio album with Natty Freq for their collaborative project, Mustache Riot.  He’s even got his own label, Smashed Beatz.  Watch out, We Bang is coming to wreck havoc on your dancefloor.

I had a chance to talk with him to share with …

One of the biggest rising acts these days, the crunked out producer/DJ Crizzly is here to join us for an exclusive interview.  He’s done some SERIOUS remixes like that of fellow Texan’s A.J. Hernz’ Snapback Swag or Willow Smith’s Whip My Hair. Crizzly answered a few of our questions, no filters, just real talk.  And we appreciate that here at ElectroJams.com

We recently featured their remix of Porter Robinson’s Language, and No Body is a surefire duo to keep an eye out for.  Having garnered support from the EDM world’s biggest heavyweights, No Body is on a roll and they are just rolling on through here at ElectroJams.  Kevin Chapman & Ruben Smulovitz make up the duo, and they are ready to take the EDM world by storm, and have already started with their residency at LED in San Diego.  I had a chance to catch up with them and ask …

I’ve been going to shows since 1998 and I’ve seen nearly every headliner who is considered to have a ‘mind-blowing’ show. From Crystal Method and The Chemical Brothers, to Rabbit In The Moon and Spacemen… even Pendulum Live. I’ve had my share of psychedelic EDM experiences, but nothing compares to Excision. Hands down it was the most insane concert I have ever experienced.
When you arrive to the show they hand you a set of ear-plugs, then right before Excision comes on, they make an announcement to ‘prepare …

Well he’s certainly come out with a bang.  In one day, Rory Smith aka Informant now has the #1 album release on the BeatPort Dubstep charts. Reviewed here, the EP is truely awesome and we are lucky enough to have the man himself for his first interview and it’s EXCLUSIVE to ElectroJams.com
How would you describe your sound?
Hectic question to kick off with considering I make all sorts of genres and mess around with all kinds of synths and stuff. I don’t really feel I have a definable sound, which is …

Returning in 2012 with his fourth artist album, The Agony & The Ecstasy, Lincoln Barrett a.k.a High Contrast is set to reinstate his reputation among the greats with this masterful twelve-track opus. Considered by some to be the godfather of Liquid DnB, High Contrast had some high expectations to fill with this album, and in my eyes he vastly exceeded all of them.
Featuring an extensive range of collaborators, from established worldwide superstars such as Tiesto and Underworld to up-and-coming fresh new talent like Med School, signing Lung and Jessy Allen, …
