The renowned dubstep/gorestep producer Borgore recently got a mix of his on BBC Radio 1 Xtra on MistaJam’s show, which you can download here. On the show, Borgore confirms his next release will be ‘Borgore Ruined Dubstep Part 2′ and he says it is ‘a bit mellower’.
This mix is a great collection of some gorestep and dubstep, not just featuring Borgore. As MistaJam described it, “it’s one of those kind of subtle half-inch punches to the jaw”. A fitting summary of dubstep if you ask me.

R&B artist Usher’s hit single OMG off the album Raymond vs. Raymond has gained massive airplay across the world reaching the #1 spot on multiple charts. It was only a matter of time until such a sensational track would be released to the dubstep hounds for remixing.

STS9 recently ran a remix contest for their track EHM. The winners were announced and one of the runner-ups was INFLECT (aka Brett Smith of our friends Somasphere).
Smith’s take on the track is a unique one to say the least. He takes the already present glitch hop elements and gives them steroids, transforming the track into woofer raping banger.

There’s no other reason why someone would actually record and release a track like this. It’s career suicide. Rusko used to be all the rage but he is slowly becoming more irrelevant as bigger and better acts steal the spotlight.
With mediocre responses to his latest album, O.M.G., and now this, I can’t say there’s much more in his future as a dubstep DJ and producer.

I personally have been WAITING for a remix of this track. California Gurls by the lovely Katy Perry is undoubtedly one of the top summer/beach party tracks. Once again Team Dark Intensity delivers with their bangin’ remixes. It won’t be long until you hear this remix in a club near YOU.
