Borgore’s latest track Flex was met with rather mediocre reviews. Some fans hated it and said the production value was garbage, while others are currently worshipping it. However, the majority of fans are loving the Figure drumstep remix (at least the ones who aren’t arguing over whether it sounds like Skrillex, but that’s YouTube for you!).
This track goes HARD and has that unique Figure wobble in it!

BOOM! HEADSHOT! And there goes my head… and now I’ve lost my mind. Sanity depleted. I am senseless, speechless. I am lost for words at what Jon Gooch has crafted here. I was blown away by his recent collaboration with Gemini, “Whiskers”, but this track, oh this track is massive. This is the second 110 bpm track Feed Me has put out, next to “Pink Lady”, and my god, he’s got me begging for more moombah madness from him. With a rock-infused, Daft Punk-ish intro synth, some Skrillexian warped voices, …

After their debut release, ‘Unstoppable’, made it to #1 on the TrackitDown charts, the British Trio known as Street Creeps is following up with an intense four track EP for Demon Dub Records. Leaning on more than 15 years of experience, the group relies on their influences from early 90’s underground warehouse parties and and the jungle sound to fuel their style.
‘Bitches’ is packed with Hip-Hop flavor and juddering bassline combinations designed to set dance floors alight. If you’re a fan of US style Dubstep then this will undoubtedly sit …

Chris Lake is in my eyes one of the original progressive house contenders, alongside artists such as deadmau5, Michael Woods, and Moguai. I was originally introduced to this style of prog house in the glory days, when tracks such as Faxing Berlin and Dynamik were being released so that is what I will forever consider ‘progressive house.’
I respect Chris Lake ’cause he’s stayed true to his roots and sound, although Build Up does seem to veer in a slightly new direction. It’s less emotional and atmospheric and little more electro-ish. …

Talk about the ultimate teaser! On Soundcloud you can now hear 25 seconds – yes, you read that right – of the forthcoming vocal edit of Calling from Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso. The original / instrumental of Calling was released about five months ago and has since soared to the tops of charts all around, becoming one of the biggest EDM releases of 2011.
Perhaps next week we’ll have part :25 – :50 for you to hear!

New from London based drum & bass producer Peter Rogers aka Technicolour is Centrifuge, a solemn little liquid tune. Released on the B side is Winter Rose, another funky little tune with lots of jazz vibes alongside eloquent piano and vocal samples in it that almost borders on experimental.
The vinyl is available right now via Spearhead Records, but the digital version will be released later this month.

Ohhhh baby. It’s been a while since my ears were blessed with the subsonic sweetness of some Trolley Snatcha. This tune takes me back to his remixes of Kano’s “Spaceship” and Chase & Status’s “Blind Faith”, which are by far my favorite productions from Mr. Keynes. The mechanical, suspended synth of the drop is so characteristic of Trolley Snatcha. Combined with a blippy, future bass, beatmashed sound on the drop, as well as some dubsteppy stadium horns, this track is downright irresistible. It’s essentially all I want from Trolley Snatcha. …

I’m 100% sure this is a little late, seeing as the remix is a month old by now but I have to show you guys this talent, Special Features has been remixing well known songs such as Deadmau5′s Strobe and David Guetta’s Sunshine. I have a buddy who has been bugging me constantly about Special Features and I was forced to listen to them time and time again, but I most definitely enjoyed listening to them. Especially his Happy Violence Remix right here:
