A&B has blessed us with an official release date of June 25 for their illustrious Club Mix rendition of “On My Way To Heaven”. Anjunafans all over are familiar with the way this song touches the very depths of our souls. Richard Bedford strikes eminently with heartfelt lyrics and his compelling vocal talent. This song has become a staple in Jono, Tony, amd Paavo’s sets in recent months since they dropped it at TATW 400 in Beirut, Lebanon. There’s not much to say about this song other than it’s finally here and …

The Finnish Duo Super8 & Tab are back with a concoction of pure bliss. “Black is Back” has the characteristics of a track that would be considered a masterpiece.
Describing this song as powerful is an understatement. Jan Burton makes an appearance once again after being on S8&T’s most recent album ”Anjunabeats pres. Super8 & Tab”. The lyrics present a dynamic purpose of protection that fit in perfectly on top of soaring melodies. This track has made itself a name in the duos recent sets and has gained notoriety among Anjunafans all over.

Hailing from Austin TX, Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed are at it again making magic that pleases the ears of those that are fortunate enough to experience such a phenomenon.
Everafter (Tritonal Club Mix) is a rendition of one of the songs off their debut album “Piercing The Quiet” which was released on their very own record label Air Up There Recordings. Hearing this song immediately puts one into a reminiscent mood especially when Christina Soto’s voice pierces through to lift your being sky high. Along with Christinas voice is a beat that will not stop …

Michael Woods does it again by blending his distinctly unique progressive influence with Ferry Corsten’s ft. Aruna “Live Forever”. This track has been featured on the 252nd edition of Ferry’s radio show “Corsten’s Countdown”. Set to be released soon on Flashover Recordings this rendition of an already popular song possesses Aruna’s discernibly sensual vocals on top of melodies accompanied by subtle synth harmonies. The chorus begins to build up and before you know it, a driving force of pure excellence presents itself and begins to pump this tune into dance heaven.
Once again Michael Woods has delivered …

Calling Anjunabeats Worldwide 04 a masterpiece would be a understatement. Known for featuring talented up-and-coming trance artists, this release is powered by the likes of Maor Levi and the long time Anjuna resident Krzysztof Pretkiewicz known as Nitrous Oxide.
Disc 1 is mixed by the Israeli producer Maor Levi who got his start at the ripe age of 11 and then progressed to his first release with “Lital” in 2006 on Anjunadeep. After a mandatory stint in the Israeli Army, Maor came back rejuvenated and started to establish himself in music again. Starting from …

It’s not really a secret anymore – the pop industry is blatantly “borrowing” many styles and ideas from the EDM scene. Many artists who were once hip hop/rnb or simply “pop” have now turned to 4×4 beats and trance-like synthesizers. All this means for us really is even more bangin’ club remixes of the radio hits, such as the Project 46 remix of Wild Ones from Flo Rida featuring Sia. The beat is really smooth and the piano adds a really nice subtle effect.

I am oh so envious of the British music scene. Not only are EDM and dubstep widely pervasive and accepted in the UK, even their pop music is enjoyable. Singers/rappers like Example, Ellie Goulding, Tinie Tempah, Dizzee Rascal, Foreign Beggars are the equivalent of our Britney Spears, Ke$ha, Miley Cyrus, Lil Wayne, Flo Rida, etc. It’s just simply not fair. Timothy McKenzie, or Labrinth, is another example of a standout British vocalist. His single “Last Time” has already gained the remix treatment from none other than Knife Party, having created a …

Dutch Trance master Ferry Corsten officially releases his newest EDM masterpiece on Friday. Although Corsten has seemed to slip in the DJ rankings over the past few years, this album could help to retake some of his former glory. Some interesting collabs with artists like fellow Dutchman Armin Van Buuren and some independent vocalists could prove fruitful. Corsten claims that this album hits harder in the electro-house arena, and nowhere is that sound more prominent than Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us featuring male vocalist Ben Hague who Corsten apparently recruited from You Tube, …

Katy Perry’s latest single The One That Got Away isn’t one of my favorites from her, but it sure has been popular with the remixers. From R3hab to Tommie Sunshine & Disco Fries and even Liam Keegan, it’s gotten the electro house treatment from the cream of the crop.
What’s really bothersome though, is that every other EDM blog in the universe has focused solely on R3hab and Tommy Sunshine and have entirely neglected to mention the remix from Liam Keegan. So, I’m putting that one first. Enjoy!
