If you’ve been floating around the bass music scene this year, you’ve undoubtedly heard the nostalgic Jump-Up anthem that is ‘Reach’ by Tantrum Desire. Veteran innovators in the modern Drum & Bass scene, the production duo continues their legacy with another dancefloor destroyer engineered to perfection.
‘Get With It’ and the VIP remix of ‘Reach’ both take a step forward, building on the same rowdy vibes from the original. Fully saturated with juicy bass on top of enormous drum kits, both tracks deliver everything you want a huge …

As one of the kingpins of the drum & bass, Andy C has a long resume filled to the brim with hits. For his newest remix release, he has taken Major Lazer’s newest single Get Free, giving it a whole new liquid feeling with upbeat breaks and the same tropical feel of the original. For a drum & bass track I couldn’t help but think of Netsky’s remix of Rusko’s Everyday. Another euphoric smasher of a remix. Check this now on YouTube and grab it when it drops with …

Delta Heavy‘s End of Days off their brand new album, Down The Rabbit Hole. End of Days features those Reese and Hoover synths that we love so much. While this track doesn’t have a huge drop like the buil up makes you anticipate, but it does have a really filthy bassline with lots of aggression in it.

Englishman and dirty Dubstep pioneer, MRK1, joined forces with UK rave don and Shadown Demon Coalition member, Trigga, to create an unstoppable release for Profound Audio. With the right amount filthy bass and an epic reverb snare this track is going to tear the roof off of clubs world-wide. If you prefer the 170 BPM flavor of bass music, Eddie K comes through with one ridiculously nasty remix to backup the original. Expect to hear this track wherever fine Dubstep is played once it drops May 21st.

Rage faces, quick editing, long hair, and graffitti, this video is nuts.
The official video for Bassnectar’s single Ugly is a tour de force that just moves along at a frenetic pace and it fits perfectly with the upbeat, glitched out with the drum & bass/drumstep feel of this track.
The video shows bass heads with their various bass faces contorted in all directions, Lorin himself running in a Forest Gump-esque track suit.
I can’t do this video justice. Check it out here.

Talon has shown us again that the Breach Audio crew cannot fail. This bangin’ remix more than a bit different than the post hardcore original but, despite the drastic difference in genre Talon had managed to keep all the essential elements true to their original sound. The ability to effectively remix something from such a far-flung type of music really speaks to Talon’s talent. If you like what you hear be sure to pick up this track for free, and keep an eye out for his upcoming release on Breach Audio. It’s been a while since I posted anything from Rollz, so I’m glad to present you with this free download of The Projects, a funky liquid tune with great melody that features some trance-like chords in it. This track is really relaxing but you could also dance to it.
The track also features snippets from a 1989 interview of Frank Zappa, conducted by CNN’s Larry King (you can watch the full interview here. Also, if you listen closely, you may be able to recognize some samples from Marvin Gaye’s Sexual Healing. …
