The official video for Bassnectar’s single Ugly is a tour de force that just moves along at a frenetic pace and it fits perfectly with the upbeat, glitched out with the drum & bass/drumstep feel of this track.
The video shows bass heads with their various bass faces contorted in all directions, Lorin himself running in a Forest Gump-esque track suit.

About a month ago we interviewed SoCal dubstep producer We Bang, 1/2 of Mustache Riot. No, it is not 3 hours long. A new  a drumstep remix of his track All I Ask Of You has leaked. For something which he did on a 3 hour plane ride it’s a testament to his abilities. Granted he has his patches and templates, but tt’s awesome to see Skrillex move in the drumstep direction.  I know the Skrillex fans are always ready to pounce on anything new, so here it is.

While they have primarily produced Electro House to this point, duo Tommy Noble has now released this drumstep.  A bootleg of pop-star Lana Del Rey’s Diet Mountain Dew, this one just kills it.  With some Figure-esque crunchy over-powering bass, well crafted vocal samples, and some great melody.  While the original would have been suited finely for some basic computer speakers, you NEED bass for this.  You need a good system to really appreciate this one. Don’t spoil it for yourself.  Go get some speakers and womp out.
