Nobody makes the saxophone cooler than Big Gigantic… Okay, maybe Sexy Sax Guy. But seriously, BG have really been outdoing themselves lately. Their full-length album Nocturnal (free, mind you) was a huge success and they’ve been touring non-stop.
Check out their remix of the dubstep track Do I See Color from Adventure Club and get the free download!

Dieselboy’s SubHuman label has always put out some of the nastiest, filthiest, and grimiest tunes.  This SKisM remix is no different.
As it opens with some light piano, ominous drums begin.  Like a force of soldiers marching towards the front lines, weapons in head and ready to fire, the war cry is called as the vocal sample drops.  The futuristic and cinematic vibes of this remix are strong through out and in classic SKisM style, as the proverbial shots are fired and the drop comes, there’s an onslaught of lazer-infused melody …

Dresscode: Superhero style.
Invading Governor’s Island on June 16th, Laidback Luke, Datsik, Tommy Trash, PeaceTreaty, Oliver Twizt bringing the beats and the party.  With a variety of different styles of house and the raging dubstep booms from Datsik, this event is going to be a memorable one to be sure.  A theme of superheros should help fans get into the party mode early and only help create an awesome community atmosphere; something many bigger events often lack (and a change from dance music’s roots)
Made Event has event put together a contest …

James Egbert is one of the hottest upcoming producers in EDM these days.  After moving to Boulder, CO to work on music full time, James began producing for other groups/acts until it was time to start his own solo projects. Motivated by multiple productions making the top 50 on the iTunes Electronic and Dance charts, Egbert’s success at this point is not a surprise.  The surprise is how the hype surrounding him has exponentially grown and we wonder where he will be next.

At the bottom you can stream the title …

Bass monsters Datsik and Bare have come together to collaborate on this downright filthy track.  Bass Union is a new channel that is going to be home to a lot of new music videos for new bass music.  On the heals of the remix EP of King Kong, a new video for it.
The video shows two young guys having fun as one of them grabs a camera and the other dresses up in a gorilla suit parading through   LA on a path of destruction. It’s a guerilla shoot of …

About a month ago we interviewed SoCal dubstep producer We Bang, 1/2 of Mustache Riot. In addition to having tracks released on Reid Speed’s Play Me Records, We Bang heads up his own label, Smashed Beatz. The label has steadily been growing, and now they have released the debut EP from Denver bass producer, ForeverKID.
Mazzaroth E.P. is a 5 track release featuring dubstep, drumstep and drum & bass tunes.  With collaborations from Direct Feed, Rostik, and the aforementioned We Bang, this is collection of some hard hitting bass monsters.  This EP …

Monstecat’s resident DJ, Going Quantum has gone off on his own and produced a few tracks by himself and with other Monstercat regulars namely Stephen Walking.  His first track, Hello has been used my many big artists to start off their sets, such as Liquid Stranger’s Bionic Beatdown mix.  Recently GQ announced that he was going to be releasing a remix EP with remixes of Hello. This EP drops today, yes it’s still the 7th here in California, with huge dubstep and drum & bass remixes from Stephen Walking, Ephixa, and Centra. Purchase it …

Sub Focus has really come into his own the last couple years with productions like Rock It and his remix of Rusko’s Hold On.  Now we have another original, Out the Blue.  Featuring vocals from Alice Gold, Sub Focus takes you on a ride littered with quick breaks, light and seemingly anime-inspired melodies, and transports you the oceanside, like you’re jet-skiing across some waves.  There’s something awesomely uplifting and dancey about this track.  I expect this to be an anthem this summer at drum and bass raves.
The EP also features remixes from …
