Swedish national treasure of Call On Me fame Eric Prydz aka “Pryda” has been working on a full length album since 2005, and was originally scheduled for release in 2007, but after complications with the records label he decided to cancel the release. Now after the passing of many years the album is set to be released on May 21st on Virgin Records. You can pre-order the album here. Disc 1 of the release is comprised of new and unreleased tracks from the Pryda catalog while discs 2 & 3 …

The maestro of electro house, Wolfgang Gartner, has just put out a preview of his upcoming track “Flexx”, stating that he will release the track in three to four weeks. Wolfgang uploaded the preview in response to a barrage of negativity he received from fans disgruntled at his most recent productions, which were far more progressive house sounding than the style he is known for. Gartner responded to the petty criticism on his Facebook, writing, “I have 6 more [tracks] finished, and none of them are progressive house. They’re all …

This track has been floating around the EDM world ephemerally these past few months. It’s made appearances at Ultra via, Nicky Romero as well as David Guetta on the mainstage. It appeared in Romero’s Essential Mix. And now the preview has finally arrived, and the formless, previously nameless unearthly identity of this entity has been illuminated. “WTF?” is the collaboration between Dutchmen Nicky Romero and ZROQ, and it is shaping up to be quite the massive tune. Light chords bathed in reverb resonate mysteriously until the screaming, explosive drop takes off. Nicky’s new …

‘Pryda’, both the alias of Swedish DJ and producer Eric Prydz, and the name of one if his three Stockholm based lables, released this new smashing and inevitable clubhit titled ‘Allein’ just in time for summer.
As destined when Prydz’s releases under and through Pryda one can expect good paradigm progressive house, while also diving into sub genres such as electro house and tech house.

I couldn’t be happier today to bring you a new remix of Deadmau5‘s recent production, “The Veldt”, by one of UC Berkeley’s own, Patrick Rogers, or Rogus as he is known. Finding a happy medium between the mau5′s teasing 3 minute radio edit and his luscious, though lengthy, 8 minute extended edit, Rogus’s take on “The Veldt” is a comfortable six minutes that just feels right. It amplifies the elegance of the original with lovely choral resonance, giving the track space to breathe. The accompanying piano and synth melodies crafted by …

While it has been the trend that producers younger than the age of 20 have become quite a force, I don’t think we have seen one as young as 16-year old Julian Jordan. The dutch producer has collaborated with TV Noise to come out with Oxford. The track shows Jordan’s production skills as he makes an electro banger that just makes you want to rage. The 16-year old producer is already signed to Spinnin’ Records so he’s already caught the eye of some of dance music’s biggest names. Watch out …

“LA has always been an extremely special place for us where some of our most dedicated fans live. It’s one of our favorite places in the world to perform, and we can’t wait to bring Group Therapy back for 2012.
”
We here at ElectroJams are certainly with them. As Above & Beyond descends upon the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles County, fans are just waiting to for their “group therapy.” The tour centers around their second album release, Group Therapy, and after performing at various locals in the UK and …

Above and Beyond premiered this track during their #419th epsiode of their weekly podcast, Trance Around The World as the “record of the week”, frankly it will exceed that. Mat Zo’s new single, The Sky is a beautiful blend of trance and progressive house, with it’s barebones chord progressions, deep bass, and beautiful singing from Linnea Schossow. There is something incredibly soothing that keeps you awake. The Sky is certainly a cross-over anthem that should be heard all summer long.
You can buy both the extended and club mixes exclusively on Beatport.
If you’re digging his tunes, you …

Bronies have been described by many as the AIDS of the internet, but what these people obviously aren’t aware of is the diversity of this immense fandom. Much of show’s appeal comes from the extremely well written music, all of which is composed by Daniel Ingram. Many people have taken it upon themselves to put their own spin on these songs, and it goes without saying that some are better than others. This progressive house track is one of the best. Archie’s Avicii-esque remix of “Love Is In Bloom” from the season …

Bringing sunshine indoors is now possible with this lush composition from the master himself Jody Wisternoff. Through a 25 year career its clear that Jody continues to explore his style and sounds respectively. This is the lead single on his brand new debut album “Trails We Blaze” set to release May 28, 2012 on Anjunadeep. On top of the swanky rhythm filled with chill undertones we receive the glassy vocals of Pete Josef.
Drawing attention from Vincenzo and Celsius to do remixes this track has what it takes to be known and noticed …
