Here’s a tasty little preview of R3hab‘s upcoming remix of I Don’t Like You from Eva Simons. The extended intro starts off gently with Eva’s smooth and sensual vocals and sounds like any other prog house track. At the 1:00 mark is when things start to get a little wild and R3hab fires up his chainsaw. Good stuff!
Who do you think remixed this track better, Nicky Romero or R3hab?

If you follow our Facebook, you’ll know that from time to time we will post things we have found perusing Reddit. Today, on r/electronicmusic, user ‘LiathroidDana’ posted his new 2-track EP of progressive house.
As someone who religiously reads this subreddit, it’s refreshing to find some quality work from an aspiring producer who isn’t trying to make a mashup of Skrillex and Avicii.
Mat Lynch, (the man behind the username) has taken a euphoric and hypnotic approach to his music, and it is clear that he has some chops.  Ethereal soundscapes evoke …

File under: epic tracks that I completely forgot to post. Ah, such is the life eh? So many good releases over the last couple days, combined with finals etc and that’s a recipe for disaster. New from Sander van Doorn is this magical track Nothing Inside featuring the evocative vocals of Mayaeni. There’s something about this track that really stirs up some emotions in you and has that satisfactory feeling of a feel-good summer anthem.
Trivia: This track was written by Justin Parker, the man behind Lana Del Rey’s worldwide hit …

It’s been a busy year and a half for Alesso. Not many people have done the amount of work he’s accomplished in such a short amount of time. Ripped from his essential mix, this preview of Clash is just enough to whet our palettes. It’s a somber little tune with just enough bass and synth to get your groove on.

Released on Above & Beyond’s second imprint, Anjunadeep, Soundprank has got a new 3-track EP of Progressive House tunes for you.  There’s something awesome about these beats that is just melodic and hypnotic that keeps me entranced.  Colin Fisher, aka Soundprank has brought it with this release
Soundprank’s first track is Boundless Energy, an unrelenting track that just keeps moving and moving.  There is something delicate more melodic side to this track, but the pulse and the juxtoposition of these two is what makes this go.  There’s some sort of oceanic …

Flux Pavilion’s new hit has only been officially released for a day, but new producer Henry Fong has now remixed it with his own awesome brand of Progressive House.  Fong takes the original and splices it up and re-arranges it and keeps the melody only giving it a constant four-to-the-floor beat and an even more epic anthemic feeling.  This track is very much a big room anthem in the style of someone like Avicii or the trio Swedish House Mafia.  This is the best of the unofficial remixes I have …

Nicky Romero has collaborated with the likes of David Guetta and Avicii, headlined some of the biggest festivals, and now he’s put out a BBC Essential Mix.  This one exemplifies Romero’s energetic, upbeat, and fresh sound. He drops favorites of his own like Camorra and Generation 303 and of others like Hardwell’s Spaceman and his recent collaboration with David Guetta, Metropolis.  The BBC Essential Mix always seems to be a benchmark of a producer’s fame, and this should continue to bring in fans by the throngs. This mix is euphoric …

While there have been quite a bit of remixes of Gotye’s Somebody I Used To Know, I really don’t think there is one that is quite as good as this one.  Parisian duo, Magnus & Timon have put together their own big room, progressive house spin on this track, and the result is amazing.  We’ve never featured this duo on ElectroJams.com, but we surely hope this isn’t the last time.  This remix keeps the original vibe, but adds a whole new chilling dimension to it.  This version adds some big …
