Last week I was fortunate enough to attend the Denver stop of Steve Aoki and Datsik’s ‘Deadmeat Tour’ at the Fillmore Auditorium. As a huge fan of both artists my expectations were pretty high to say the least (plus tickets were $50 a piece – ouch). The show was on a Thursday night so The Fillmore was only at half of its carrying capacity with around a couple thousand people in attendance. What’s more fun that a bunch of teasers? Skrillex has launched a site dedicated entire to his Mothership tour, as well as a forum exclusively for his loyal fans. Included in the video are a bunch of unreleased tracks which give us the impression that Sonny is going in a while new direction in 2012, musically speaking. I’ve always personally been a fan of Sonny’s vocals, even since the days of From First To Last so I proudly and publicly welcome his new style!

I am happy to announce THE X TOUR, coming in 2012. It’s official: Via Facebook and the STS9 blog, it has been confirmed that electronic funk group Big Gigantic will be making an appearance at the 2010 Red Rocks festival. Big Gigantic has joined other acts such as STS9, Thievery Corporation, Ghostland Observatory, and Alex B of The Pnuma Trio.

Electronica group The New Deal have postponed their 4/24 (Saturday, April 24, 2010) show and have rescheduled that date for a performance with The Disco Biscuits at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ. The tickets can currently be refunded and the band has yet to announce a makeup date.
Expect a jam-packed summer tour from The New Deal this summer. The exact dates are yet to be announced.
