Originally released in 2010, ‘Bounce To This’ is an out-and-out rave track that made a huge impact on dance floors the world over thanks to its rattling Breakbeats, old skool influences and Alaska MC’s energetic vocal performance.
Now fans of heavy bass music will be climbing the walls to get their hands on the brand new Erb N Dub vs. Freestylers Drumstep mix. Packed with huge amounts of energy and wave upon wave of heavy synth action, this one will have dance floors running for cover every time it’s dropped. Listen …

Last night Deadmau5 performed his hit single Raise Your Weapon live at the 2012 Juno Awards. A surprise to watchers, however, was that Greta Svabo Bech (who provided the vocals on the original mix) was absent and Canadian pop singer LIGHTS was in her place. Many listeners consider her addition to be significantly better, and I think I agree (except for that awful note she hit at 2:04).
Oh, and to all the dipshits hating on the “rapper” at the end – please realize this is MC Flipside who was featured …

Ok, let me ask a simple question – why was Madonna crucified for mentioning MDMA at Ultra, when house producer Cedric Gervais has released a track entitled Molly which is a blatant reference to the pure form of MDMA? If you watch the above music video, Cedric is essentially glorifying sex and drug use. I don’t want to sound like some kind of fundamentalist Bible thumper, and trust me – I’m fully aware that drug use is rampant at EDM events. I just want to know why it’s “cool” when …

During the second day of Ultra Music Fest, Avicii capped off his epic set with the premiere of his remix of Girl Gone Wild by Madonna. Further, he even had Madonna herself rocking out by his side while he dropped the track. As you can see in the video, the fans appear to be very receptive of this song, and Avicii and Madonna certainly had a good time with it. There’s something about Madonna’s voice that accents Avicii’s sound so well!

Only recently showing up on my radar, I didn’t expect much from this Boston based duo called Stripe. I knew that one of the members founded monster.com and then sold it off to pursue his music dreams, but I didn’t know that he had perfected a party-rocking style that I had never witnessed along the way. After I saw them live I was blown away.
Stripe’s record selection was on point, and their original production topped it off in just the right way, but that is only …

This video is the result of violinist Lindsey Stirling experimenting with the wacky world of EDM. It’s crazy how she manages to create such an eargasmic song by combining elements of classical music with the eccentric style of dubstep. Lindsey pulls this off perfectly by combining her amazing violin skills with a softer symphony of wobbles – and setting it to an equally chilled out video (filmed in Silverthorne, CO for anyone interested). This isn’t your typical EDM music video (if there is such a thing), but I really enjoyed …

The official music video for Roll It, Light It from Cypress Hill & Rusko has been uploaded and I can say hands down it is the coolest music video I’ve ever seen. I’m not super fond of the track itself, but the video is top notch. Although some people out there are not fans of the “weed rap”, I am rather disinterested. I mean honestly, it’s Cypress Hill (weed smokers) and Rusko (weed smoker) – what else did you expect, a song about sobriety?
Don’t forget to check out the “behind …

Ean Golden has uploaded a demonstration video for his signature edition of the VCI-400. The controller features an exclusive DJ TechTools black matte finish, signature blue Dj TechTools filters, black Chroma caps, cutting-edge DJTT Midi mapping with Instant Gratification, Jog FX, Grid, and Slicer features, and exclusive firmware that enables features such as the “Slicer.”

$1,099 is a bit steep as you can get very similar features from the Denon MC6000 for $750, but the VCI-400 looks like a very promising little controller with a lot to offer.
Available now at the …
