any of you had good experiences with headphones meeting my needs?
thanks in advance!

@bodhi, move this to wherever you think its suited best, couldnt think of any better subforum than this one...
My Sennheiser HD280 Pro headphones are by far one of the nicest audio related products, hell electronic products in general, I've ever owned. I've had them for like 6 years & they still sound crisp as fuck. The bass absolutely BOOMS when I play Dubstep, Death Metal or Goregrind sound thick as fuck, Fear Factory sounds smashing, bands like Murder By Death sound clear, Classical compositions such as Dvořák's Symphony No. 9 are crisp & smooth... Couldn't tell ya about durability, I only use them at home but I have come home many a drunken night to throw them on & throw them around a bit, they're still holding up just fine aside from a couple chips broken out of the plastic. They're cheaper now than when I bought them too, they were like $200 when I got them now they're $100 or less. Don't know how that converts to Euro... Here's a CNET review: http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/sennh...35462.html (Don't pay attention to people saying the bass is LIGHT, this IS NOT TRUE... maybe they don't know these headphones have a "break-in" period... If you review them before that you're not reviewing the true potential of their sound)

Seriously I've owned & used this style of headphones from many different companies... Sony, Panasonic, Skullcandy... All garbage by comparison.
I know of a few good pairs of in-ear monitors. Would you be interested in something like that? I've been using in-ear monitors as standard listening headphones for about a year now, and wouldn't use anything else. In-ears can be expensive, but I know of a few cheap pairs that are around the $100-$200 price range. Let me know if you want to hear about them.
I had a pair of earbuds very similiar to these, and they were BADASS... http://www.amazon.com/JVC-HAFX67B-Cushio...055&sr=8-4

JVC's for $12.95
i was looking for cans, i think im gonna go with embryoyos' if theres nothing comparable for less money.

i was about to go with a pair of sennheisers anyway as i read the best reviews about them and already got a proper pair of sennheisers but they were like 20 bucks and just dont do it for me anymore...

thanks everyone!
i'm using sennheiser cx200's on my ipod and i'm totally fine with them... they only cost 20€, so you can't really bet that wrong with them anyway imho..

Yes yes yes YES you should! I win, haHA! I need to get some in-ear Senn's for when I go on walks soon... Probably the only headphone company that's not pro-DJ I trust at the moment.
