Give salvia, a go. 100% natural and very hallucinogenic. Just make sure you have someone to watch you while you're on it, and that you do it for the right reasons. Listening to calming music is a must.
Just curious,
Why do you think salvia is the most mellow? I've never personally done it but from everything I have heard about it, it sounds like one big WTF/question mark sort of trip haha.
I've done Salvia a few times, only broke through twice but I never do it again when offered.
Definitely not mellow though.. my Dad is just now getting into it.
I think AMT is one of the more mellow trips I've had, at least during the day.
DXM is pretty mellow too, similar to the Ketamine suggestion.
What do you mean by "broke through"?
Also, your dad takes hallucinogens? Awesome!!

Salvia and even DMT have sort of a threshold you have to break through in order to fully experience another universe. The conditions for breaking through on Salvia are very temperamental.. the setting plays a huge factor, how you smoke, light it, hit it, etc. A lot of people will smoke it several times and it does nothing to them or if it does, it's not the full closed eye experience (took me my 4th try until I finally broke though) So you have that plus the factor that it's legal and most people think it's bunk. I had a group of people telling me it wouldn't do anything because it's something they bought legally at a headshop.. I warned all of them, was the only one not to smoke it and I witnessed 2 major freak outs where a couple of the girls in the group turned pale white and started drooling. After that, everyone started understanding why I wasn't smoking it.
I described how intense it was to them as saying my friend lit a bowl once, blew the ashes out of the pipe and told me there was "a highschool" in his pipe... like the ashes turned to people as he blew them out and they were walking into a school... My experiences were even weirder but it's very difficult to describe them to people.
And yes, my Dad is a huge party animal, goes to a ton of concerts as well. He's even been doing Ketamine lately and he's finally started breaking through on Salvia and it's starting to scare him as well. Ego loss is very scary, it's like never having a memory of being you, never having a concept of what being human is even. I haven't really tripped with my Dad, just one time where we took mushrooms with my GF, then got on the subway and it instantly kicked in. We then went to this really high end Italian restaurant in NYC, imagine trying to eat in a classy place when you're tripping. Luckily, we knew the guy there and he gets high too. It was an amazing experience though despite being short because we drank it as a tea. After the restaurant where I barely touched my food, we went to Central Park and smoked a doob on the rocks.. it was amazing and one of the few times I was able to smoke while tripping without it getting bad. After that, we saw Bela Fleck and the Flecktones at Carnegie Hall.. which, similar to the classy restaurant, was a little too formal for us.
So I probably won't smoke Salvia for a looong time, I had an opportunity to smoke DMT and I purposefully didn't smoke the entire hit because I was too afraid and I had 5-meo-DMT for months and never smoked enough of that to enter the void because I was scared and even shroom/acid trips have started getting too scary because I keep getting stuck in loops, though that's mostly whenever I get high while I'm tripping though.
aoxomoxoa... You are one interesting dude. That story about NYC was a delight to read haha.
And yeah, I stopped taking acid as well... My trips were getting too weird for me haha.
I have a project in my health class about hallucinogens, and I would like to find out more about them.So tell me, what is your favorite hallucinogen to party with? I mean really party. Not just kicking it listening to records. But a hallucinogen you can take and be surrounded by strangers, pounding music, maybe drinking, definitely smoking pot.
Um..... That would most definitely be MDMA. I don't encourage the use of LSD around strangers.
