^ Fuck the friend zone, man! If you have shown interest in them, and they push you aside like that, they aren't ever worth talking to at any other point in your life. I know how it is, I've been there... PLENTY of times! More than I care to admit, in fact... The best you can do is discard the garbage & look for something fresh 
Depending on the individual, perhaps, but I disagree with your first sentence, to a certain extent. I mean, ALOT of girls are like that, I won't argue with you there. There are ones out there that aren't, I dunno... Maybe I just got super incredibly lucky & hooked meself one who isn't a psychotic freak...
Regarding your other sentence, I think every man is like that to some extent in a relationship. It shouldn't be so hard to admit, so long as she makes you happy & you love each other.
I want to say I'm subservient with my girlfriend, because I have to admit I'm wrong & she's right very often, but ya know...
As you've seen how I can be on the forums sometimes...
I am often like that in social interactions in my life as well, I often don't look at things with a level head, or without a bias...
She truly is always right though, when I realize I need to look at things from the perspective she wants me to, which is generally very level & without bias.
Although this doesn't have much to do with being subservient, I suppose, that's a whole other spectrum.
Yes, I will do most anything she wants me to do without hesitation, but that's because I love her so damned much & I have no proclivities against making her happy. Plus, she returns that kind of obedience, it's not a one way street in our relationship.
