another reason why i love lotus...always taking care of their fans
Yeah. They have never not delivered.
and their shows lately. delivery all daaayyyyy!!!!! theyre fucking killing it right now and in my opinion have finally reached the top of the "livetronica" scene. i would put them above tDB and sts9 if comparing all three's recent performances and releases. lotus is always trying to add something new and fresh to their music and not many bands can manage to pull that off as frequently as they do without receiving bad feedback. nothing but positive vibes from these guys and all of their hard work is finally paying off
Really sad to see my favorite track didn't make it on there... Behind Midwestern Storefronts

Alright I love lotus, don't get me wrong. But dude they're not touching the biscuits. tDB and sts9 have much more range to their music in my opinion...
I agree that Lotus is definitely on top of their game right now, I feel that STS9 just has a MUCH different stage presence than Lotus... Not sure about TDB cause I've never seen them live.
never seen the biscuits man?!
Never seen them... *hangs head in shame*
haha alright lets just agree to disagree. im a huge lotus fan so i will be honest and say my opinions are unfairly biased. but we will see whos the boss on 8/12 at the lotus/sts9 coheadliner haha.

and as for behind midwest storefronts...i remember when i first listened to Hammerstrike and was totally thrown off by the new sound and kinda hated the song in particular. but obviously after more listens it has become one of my favorites and one of the pivotal tracks in lotus' transition to a more dance-rock sound rather than the slower funky jams
