Released just days ago, The Veldt from Deadmau5 has since become one of the hottest tracks Joel has released in ages. This video is actually Chris Lake playing the Tommy Trash remix which adds a powerful bassline to keep the club going.

Today is a day for all to rejoice! Today is the day we celebrate the return of the ProgMau5. If you’re launching a product, it’s always good to have a celebrity or icon who helps promote your product. Sonos has used that exact approach with their new wireless home music system when they filmed deadmau5 in his new Toronto home for their new campaign, Listening Is Back.

Last night Deadmau5 performed his hit single Raise Your Weapon live at the 2012 Juno Awards. A surprise to watchers, however, was that Greta Svabo Bech (who provided the vocals on the original mix) was absent and Canadian pop singer LIGHTS was in her place. Many listeners consider her addition to be significantly better, and I think I agree (except for that awful note she hit at 2:04).
