Deadmau5 has uploaded Cthulhu Dreams, which he describes as an ‘angry’ version of the original track Cthulhu Sleeps, which appeared in his dreams. Interesting nonetheless!

Turns out Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 was feeling the holiday spirit this season and decided to give his fans a free Christmas gift. Xmas Stuff is an extremely downtempo and ambient version of I Remember, or what Joel calls “noodling and doodling of a classic.”

The people behind HARDfest teamed up with director Kevin Kerslake to produce this stunning ‘mini documentary’/ music video. The footage in the video was film at the free deadmau5 performance last Saturday night at the Palladium in Hollywood, along with several other acts.
The free show was to celebrate the release of the film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Bits of the film are used in this video as well.

Joel Zimmerman (aka Deadmau5) has uploaded this little preview clip to his unofficial Soundcloud account fuckmylife. I use the term unofficial in the sense that it’s not directly connected to his Deadmau5 alias, but more of a personal / experimental account.

Last night deadmau5 and TEED played an amazing free gig at Millbank tower. They wowed audiences with a spectacular 3D light show which lit up the whole of Millbank Tower which wowed the 15,000 strong crowd which lined the banks of the River Thames. Aural Psynapse from Deadmau5 was only released about a week ago and yet a remix has already surfaced! How truly exciting, especially for a music blogger such as myself. This remix from Los Angeles based Myndset simply takes this track to the next level and I’d love to hear what you guys think of it! Just don’t complain to me that you’ve been listening to it on repeat all day!

Deadmau5 – Aural Psynapse (Myndset Remix)

Deadmau5 got a whole bunch of people worked up with his last track Professional Griefers and now he’s got another fix for his devoted fans. His latest track Aural Psynapse opens up with a beautiful and mesmerizing melody then slowly fades in that classic Deadmau5 beat. The track is really reminiscent of the older days, and it definitely sound a lot more like Arguru, Alone With You, etc. I hope this is the direction Joel is headed in!

Strobe was originally released by Deadmau5 back in 2009 and appeared on his full length album, For Lack Of A Better Name. Since then it’s got an amazing 9.6 million views on YouTube alone. Like much of Joel’s work back then, it has a very hypnotizing melody and soft progressive beat.
