Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites- Monome Style

Michael Sifeldeen apparantly has some tricks up his sleeve and this video demonstrates just  few of themt. He states on his Vimeo page that he has a surprise coming for us, but makes no mention as to what it may be.
In this video, he has his grayscale 128 set up to loop samples from Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites from Skrillex. I like what he has so far and it will definitely has potential once it’s cleaned up. What we are watching here could very well be the future of …

DIY Etch-a-Sketch Monome

User Chili over on Vimeo.com uploaded a video of his DIY monome, cleverly called the “Fresh a Sketch.” From the site:
Introducing the Fresh-a-Sketch! a monome 40h kit built into an old Etch-a-Sketch complete with working pots knobs and two infrared controllers… Think DIY D-beams!
I’m using monome_midi_64 from monome base to route monome presses to Ableton Live. The adc function of this patch makes it handy for mapping the pots and beams…
Ableton is basically acting as a sampler in clip view with some midi mappings and macros for the fx chains…
