Deadmau5 has released yet another single from 4+4=12 today, this time the track is titled Bad Selection. Some fans are resisting the urge to listen to the track because they feel that by the time the album is released, they will have already listened to half the album. I can see their point there.
Overall the track isn’t really too musically interesting, and not what I would consider to be a real ‘banger.’ With that said, it’s always fun to hear new music from an artist and compare the fusion of …

Chris Lake has released the single Sleepwalker on mau5trap records. It’s a monster track with both electro and progressive influences in it. Don’t let the sudden pause at the halfway mark throw you off; that’s where the party is just getting started.

Deadmau5 was pure inspiration to me back when Random Album Title was first released and I couldn’t stop listening to his tracks – my personal favorite being Arguru. However, over the last year or so my respect for him has slowly deteriorated, due mostly in part to the watering down his tracks. Perhaps this is not the fault of deadmau5 himself but his record label. After listening to his latest release, Right This Second, I now want to slap myself in the face for ever doubting Joel Zimmerman’s talent and …

Daniel Portman is back again with another release in his signature prog house sound. The Humanity EP features two tracks, Humanity and Solitary, as well as a club remix of Humanity. Unfortunately I was not able to get a promo of this track so the player below will have to do for now!

Before I go into the review, I wish to explain the Flux Effect and why it annoys me. The Flux Effect is simply a template where the song starts with an intro (which we will call A) goes into the main tune after a drop (which we call …

BassnectarLabs have uploaded the music video for the title track of Bassnectar’s upcoming Wildstyle EP. I REALLY like the sound of the new track and am excited to hear more. The full EP will be released October 19th in both digital and CD formats. It will eventually be released on vinyl as well.

The 13th of September saw the release of ‘Borgore Ruined Dubstep Pt. 2′, or more specifically the digital version. If you haven’t peeked down yet or gathered by the title, this is going to be a review, so get ready!
First on this bombshell is ‘Kinder Surprise VIP’ with my favourite producer, Tomba. This was one of the songs to appear on the reduced vinyl edition (even if it was amusingly mislabeled as Tombo) along with 2 others. You can hear Tomba’s trademark sound come through on this one, with the …

“Sweet Shop” by Doctor P is perhaps one of the most well known dubstep tracks, and most certainly one of the first big grime / filth tracks to really gain mass attention. The YouTube upload has over 750,000+ views at the time of this post.
We are fortunate enough to have two Circus Records promos, both of which are remixes of Sweet Shop.
