‘Stars Come Out’ (originally done by Zedd and remixed by Datsik) does a perfect job of building up the beat with some fast moving, but soft melodies – It then goes on to completely throw the track against the wall with a filthy Datsik drop. This track dropped earlier this week and both artists are known well enough to have their names speak for themselves — I’ll go ahead and stop talking now and let you enjoy the track.
Make sure to check out the Beatport page for some other dirty remixes.

If you were (un)fortunate enough to watch the Super Bowl half-time show, you witnessed what is sure to be one of the most underwhelming, unimpressive (at least vocally, not visually), and undeniably bad half-time shows to date. And at this point, the sound of Madonna’s prepubescent, entirely un-seductive voice is probably the last thing you want to hear. Well, a man by the name of Lucas Cornelis van Scheppingen (quite a name, eh?) is about to change that. Laidback Luke is often hit or miss for me, so it is with great pleasure …

The Australian duo ‘Knife Party’ needs no introduction. What started as a side project with ‘Pendulum’ members Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen, has quickly evolved into one of the biggest names in EDM. They recently remixed ‘Last Time’, by British Hip-Hop/R&B artist ‘Labrinth’. Don’t be fooled by the soft vocals near the beginning, once the song gets going it bumps with typical Knife Party style.

Today I came across a sick track originally done by British producer Emalkay and remixed by Delta Heavy. Many of us are probably familiar with Delta Heavy, who have remixed the work of artists such as Nero and Avicii to produce some popular fast paced Drum & Bass hits. Emalkay, signed under ‘Dub Police’, is another British producer that has been blowing up the past couple of years. He produces a wide range of music - from the U.K style of low steady beats to some quick moving Drum & …

While knocking around SoundCloud today I happened to stumble across a new track by ‘Amnezia’ that left me with a pair of split eardrums. The British bombshell dropped a dubstep remix of ‘Titanium’ by David Guetta & Sia that combines the soft vocals of the original with some choppy beats - these blend together to produce one fluid stream of dubstep glory. It’s always good to see more girls getting involved in what seems like a largely male dominated industry. Amnezia seems relatively new on the scene but by the …

Skyler Grey… what is it at about your voice… that makes it so damn angelic. In my mind, a pair of luscious lips, shrouded in a cloud of celestial white light, soothingly sing these heart-warming lyrics. Kaskade’s original track, off the phenomenal Fire & Ice, was a gorgeous, progressive house track turned ballad by the accompanying vocals of Skyler Grey. Skyler Grey made her footprint in the EDM world rather accidentally, gaining notoriety through Dirty South’s remix of “Coming Home”, which was literally played at EVERY big EDM show/festival, and …

I’m 100% sure this is a little late, seeing as the remix is a month old by now but I have to show you guys this talent, Special Features has been remixing well known songs such as Deadmau5′s Strobe and David Guetta’s Sunshine. I have a buddy who has been bugging me constantly about Special Features and I was forced to listen to them time and time again, but I most definitely enjoyed listening to them. Especially his Happy Violence Remix right here:

‘Niton (The Reason)’ is bearing all the hallmarks of becoming Eric Prydz’s 4th UK hit, having grown from an underground instrumental smash into one of 2010′s biggest club anthems. The original track has been Zane Lowe’s “Hottest Record In The World”, a Cool Cuts No.1, Essential New Tune for Pete Tong, and been championed by Annie Mac, Scott Mills, Vernon Kay, and many more. By now EVERYONE has heard the new Skrillex EP and everyone knows the Noisia and Zedd remixes. But I’m proud to present you all with an equally brutal remix from a group a little less famous – Claymore.
Claymore is an electro duo hailing from New Zealand, which is saying a lot, as ElectroJams is based in the US of A. I give massive props to Claymore as their main focus right now is finishing Uni but they wanted to release this remix as sneak peek of what’s to come. If …
